I have PCOS, my husband and I have been married for two years now. While he’s been in the Marine Corps we have juggled with the idea of starting a family. I’ve always wanted a ton of kids, so in January of 2019 when I was told I had PCOS my heart was shattered.
A year later on January 17th, 2020 I found out I was pregnant!!! We were so excited and couldn’t believe we were going to have a baby despite my PCOS. Unfortunately a week later I miscarried and again found myself heart broken, we never gave up and prayed that God would give us a child in his time.
Come late March we had decided to begin the Foster parent process to hopefully adopt a little one very soon! Then April 17th just 3 months after my first unsuccessful pregnancy we got another positive!! I am currently 22 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby girl.
PCOS is a very scary subject when it comes to fertility, but successful pregnancies do happen to those burdened with this disorder. Praying for all of those trying!
