A lot of people seem to think when you’re home with the kids all the time you’re considered lucky – which of course we are but we also need breaks too.
SAHM’s can sometimes go through isolation and feelings of depression and anxiety on a regular basis and yet if we say what we are going through mentally some people twist how we feel and make it seem as though we aren’t grateful to be with our kids full time.
I am so so grateful to be with my babies every day and that my husband has a career in which he can provide for us all – however some days I feel alone, I only speak to children under 10 all day and by the time my husband comes home I am so tired I can’t function.
I do stay home, yes. I love being with my kids, yes. But am I still allowed to have emotions and have weaknesses sometimes? YES.
I am a mom but I am also a person outside of being one too.
Whether or not you stay at home full time with babies or work a 9-5 with babies – YOU ARE AMAZING and YOU ARE STRONG ❤️.”

I loved this post! It was so raw and definitely something that needed to be said. I work part time and have a 2 year old son and I’m always exhausted. But during lockdown I was furloughed for 3 months and at home 24/7. I developed a new appreciation for stay at home moms because it’s really no joke.
I’ve also recently started a small mommy blog. I’d love if you checked out my posts and let me know what you think. ❤️
