Mia of Gathered Nutrition shares meals she prepared during her pregnancy to nourish her body during the postpartum period.
“My postpartum meal prep! I cannot recommend prepping a few things like these recipes enough if you have a little one on the way (or making these meals for family/friends with new babies!!) – they were such a life saver in the first few weeks of bringing Leo home! Easy, nourishing snacks, breakfasts, and dinners ready in minutes.”
1. Cherry Ice Cream Smoothie

Cherry ice cream smoothie for two, please!
This is our favorite smoothie combination at the moment! The flavor is so amazing, and it is PACKED with nutrients! Antioxidants, healthy fats, replenishing minerals for a post work out shake. Plus, plant based protein if you add it!
2. Broccoli Cheddar Breakfast Biscuits

The perfect hybrid of a biscuit and a fluffy omelette made with simple ingredients like eggs, chicken sausage, broccoli, almond flour, and cheese. These make such a satisfying and easy grab and go breakfast- I’m currently obsessed! They are packed with fiber and protein, and super easy to make. broccoli cheddar is forever one of my favorite food combos- anyone else!? The broccoli really bulks up these little egg biscuits, adding lots of fiber and vitamins.
3. Bliss Balls, 3 Ways

Whoever is responsible for the idea that we should mash a bunch of healthy ingredients into one little ball as a snack is an absolute genius in my book. Bliss balls (or energy bites) are one of the easiest things to make, and they are a perfect little nutrient-dense bite! They are a good balance of healthy fats, plant-based protein, and complex carbohydrates for an actually satisfying and beneficial snack!
4. Healthy No-Bake Chewy Granola Bars

Healthy gluten free chewy granola bars! Just like the nostalgic snack we all know and love, but better. These granola bars are made with wholesome, simple ingredients. Plus, they’re a super simple no-bake recipe that you can whip up in 20 minutes or less! So easy, delicious, satisfying, and nourishing!
5. Tuscan White Bean Soup

The ultimate bowl of cozy soup! This Tuscan kale and white bean soup is light yet hearty, and packed with veggies. The most perfect recipe for these cold months!
