My husband wants his mom in our room when I’m in labor. What would you do?

NO. they can have a baby together and she can be there then. The mother sacrifices so much if she’s not comfortable she should come before his mom. She can come the min baby’s born. Good enough compromise IMO
Absolutely not! Such an intimate moment. My MIL was in the room with my 1st born and I wish I would have never agreed.
Absolutely not. This is a very personal and exposed time and mama has the right to choose who is in the room without pressure from anyone. Personally I could not imagine my own mom in the room during that none the less my MIL. Also those first few moments with your baby is a time you’ll never get back. Take it in, then have mom in after.
It depends how comfortable you are with your in law. I would probably prefer my mum to be in with me over my mother in law. But even then I still would prefer it to be just me and my husband. If you’re not comfortable with it, absolutely not. It’s a very intimate moment. And your comfort comes before the fact that your husband wants her there.
